FCA(PAK), ACA (UK), BFP (UK), Execuive Baker Tilly (Faisalabad). Mr. Ahsan Rasheed is heading the Management and Business Advisory Function at Biz Axiz. He is a Fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP) and an Associate member of Institute of Chartered Accounants of England and Wales (ICAEW). CEO & Founder, Living with type 1 diabetes in Pakistan, Sana Ajmal chose the field of Telecommunications Engineering and completed a PhD in Computer Engineering. Getting a chance to be a part of International Diabetes Federation’s Young Leaders Training and serving as its Vice President and President –Elect from 2011-2014, was her first introduction to the diverse opportunities for innovation. She completed a certified diabetes educator course, and during the consultations, started building the first small group of people, who wanted to make a difference. Meethi Zindagi was founded in 2013, as a peer support group (registered as a charity organization in 2017) and ventured into designing and implementing innovative programs and services for Pakistan. Today, Meethi Zindagi is the only community organization in Pakistan with a national footprint and services that utilize digital technology and distributed models for creating a far reaching and lasting impact. All our programs are co-designed with the diabetes community, a voice that was completely missing from the decision making table in Pakistan till 2017. As the founder, she have played various roles in building the organization from ground up, including strategic planning, creative development, communications, process development, operations management, volunteer management, financial management and resource development. My training in systems engineering and diabetes education have played a huge role in making sure that the processes are planned and tested. Now that the organization has a base of 23 employees, and many engaged volunteers, she focus more on organizational and resource development and advocacy.
